5/21 - NUP Cafeteria

Today's food post is a little bit special - I'll be focusing on the lunch that we had in the school cafeteria, rather than the not-so-special dinner. My first comment has got to be about the blatant difference in quality between the small-batch, freshly made food at NUP, and the standard Sodexo food offered at Pitt. It seems that NUP treats their cafeteria like a proper restaurant, often offering traditional Greek foods along with standard snack bar foods like sandwiches. Compared to Sodexo's sad attempts at stir fry and dry/bland vegetables, this seemed like a Michelin 5-star restaurant.

Nutritional Notes -
This is literally the healthiest I've eaten in a while since I enjoyed the vegetables SO much. They were seasoned perfectly, and weren't mushy, but weren't hard either. The chicken left a little moisture to be desired, but even so was more than a cafeteria at Pitt could dream to offer. Enjoy the extensive list of vitamins and minerals in squash and zucchini!
