5/9 -Fried Zucchini
Today was quite the golden opportunity to get work done. Seeing that class was pushed from 4pm to 5pm, the morning was clear. I went on a quick run, around 2 miles, all by the beach. The view was gorgeous, but I was quite busy pushing myself up hills and through crowds, all the while trying to keep a decent pace.
Shortly after, I met with the rest of the group at the beach and enjoyed a quaint unintentional tanning session. Despite my best efforts to keep reapplying sunscreen, the sun had unrelentingly stuck a straw into my energy reserves and sucked me dry. Class time snuck up on me, and before I knew it, I was once again sitting in our Wealth and Power lecture. I wasn't particularly hungry at the end of class, so I decided that I would eat light and healthy. Fried Zucchini might not have exactly fit the bill in every sense, as it was indeed very fried, but at the moment, it seemed close enough.
Nutritional Information -

It's pretty difficult to quantify how much of the yogurt dip I consumed, so it's been left out of this log. The vegetables on the plate were also mostly water weight - there was just simply not enough to make a significant health difference. For some reason though, I really didn't feel hungry for the rest of the night. Perhaps my stomach has yet to adjust to the time zone as well as my sleep.
