5/26 - Spaghetti Aglio e Olio
Tonight's dinner was Spaghetti Aglio e Olio! This dish originated from Naples, Italy, and is made from spaghetti with a light sauce consisted of olive oil and pressed garlic. Red chili is often also added, just for a little spice. Parsley is also an important ingredient and is commonly used as a garnish.
Nutritional Information
Notes: Surprisingly, the vitamin profile of Aglio e Olio is extremely wholesome, probably because of the presence of Olive oil, garlic, parsley, and peppers. Of course, being pasta, the dish is also extremely heavy on carbs.
