5/28 - Lamb Chops

Tonight's dinner was rather simple - Thia and I had gone to Phivos once again to relive some memories from earlier on in the trip, and as usual, our kind host treated us to a free first round of drinks. I don't particularly enjoy drinking my calories, so I chose to have a water rather than anything sugary or alcoholic - after all, one of the major contributors to childhood obesity in the U.S. is sugary drinks. For the main course of dinner, I chose to order lamb chops. They were served with fries and a salad, and I'm glad to say that I found each of the three parts of dinner equally satisfying.

Notes - The nutritional value of lamb chops and kleftiko are really almost the same, as the only difference between the two lies in the methodology of cooking. However, one can still take note of the differences in fat, protein, and certain vitamin/mineral values. This serves to highlight that the cooking method really does have an impact on the healthiness of a dish.
